Foxy’s restaurant was the host to the Chamber of Commerce Installation Dinner.

Bob Smith, Assembly Candidate, introduced Buford Land as the new elected President of the Chamber and all the new Officers for 2007-2008.

Directors not present were: Charles Cooper, Dustin Richards, David Stafford and Jonathan Stephens.

Assembly Candidate Bob Smith was also the Guest Speaker and shared his experience as Chamber’s Vice-President of the City of Baker for many years. According to Mr. Smith, the key to success for any organization are enthusiasm and team work and he believe that the New Chamber has plenty of both.

Among the guest who attended the dinner and came to support the new officers, were California City Mayor David Evans, MUD Superintendant Larry Phelps, Mary Ann LeBlanc from EDC and former Board of Supervisor Steve Perez.
